Chelsea and Arsenal Make Enquiries for Wolves Forward Mateus Mane

The 18-year-old forward, who was born in Portugal but represents England Under-18s, has scored two goals in ten Premier League appearances in his career so far. Despite his relative inexperience, Mane has made a real impression on scouts from top clubs monitoring his development at Molineux this season.

According to TEAMtalk, both Chelsea and Arsenal have enquired about Mane after scouting him in recent times, with both clubs informing the player’s camp of their interest. The Blues are known for recruiting and developing the best young players in the world under their current ownership, making them strong contenders for his signature.

Wolves face the challenge of keeping hold of Mane as relegation appears to be looming at Molineux this season, which will likely make it harder for them to convince the teenager to remain at the club. The prospect of playing for either Chelsea or Arsenal represents an attractive next step in his career development.

However, TEAMtalk reports that Mane is not indicating that he’s in any hurry to leave Wolves at present. The teenager appears content with how his career is progressing for the moment, suggesting he may be taking a measured approach to his future despite interest from bigger clubs.
