Juventus have resumed their interest in Manchester United right-back Noussair Mazraoui after previously sounding out his availability in August 2025, while the Italian club face competition from Everton for Genoa defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy as they prioritise strengthening their full-back positions during the January transfer window.

Juventus Renew Mazraoui Pursuit as Everton Enter Norton-Cuffy Race

The Morocco international has struggled for regular playing time at Old Trafford this season, making just nine appearances and collecting 443 minutes under former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim. Mazraoui is currently away on international duty representing Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations, with Juventus believed to be monitoring his situation closely after their initial approach during the summer transfer window.

Juventus face strong competition from Everton for one of their main right-back targets, with Genoa’s Norton-Cuffy attracting significant interest from the Premier League club. The Bianconeri are also considering Bayern Munich’s Sacha Boey as an alternative option for the right flank, giving them multiple avenues to pursue as they seek defensive reinforcements.

The Turin club are weighing up their transfer priorities for the January window, with both full-back and central midfield positions under consideration for strengthening. However, recent good performances from their current midfield options and Weston McKennie’s versatility across multiple positions might convince Juventus to prioritise signing a new full-back rather than reinforcement in the middle of the park.

Juventus initially explored Mazraoui’s availability during the summer of 2025 but were unable to complete a deal at that time. The 28-year-old’s limited game time under Amorim has potentially opened the door for a January move, with the Italian club now reassessing their options as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
