Fulham are in talks with Manchester City over a deal for winger Oscar Bobb, with discussions taking place between the clubs but no formal offer made. The 22-year-old has slipped down Pep Guardiola’s pecking order following City’s £62.5m signing of Antoine Semenyo. Bobb has played 15 times this season without scoring and last appeared on 17 December before going off injured early on.

Fulham hold talks with Manchester City over winger Oscar Bobb deal

Fulham are in talks to sign Oscar Bobb from fellow Premier League club Manchester City. Sources told BBC Sport that talks have taken place between the clubs, though Fulham have yet to make a formal offer for the 22-year-old winger as discussions continue.

Bobb has fallen down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola following City’s £62.5m signing of forward Antoine Semenyo this month. Semenyo’s arrival has increased competition on the right wing, where Brazilian Savinho also plays, and City may allow Bobb to leave this month either on loan or in a permanent transfer.

Bobb has featured 15 times for City this season without scoring. He last played on 17 December against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, when he hobbled off injured inside the opening 20 minutes. Asked about the winger’s injury before City’s Champions League group-phase match against Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday, Guardiola said: “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”

The Norway international has also attracted interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. Bobb has featured six times for Norway this year, helping them qualify for this summer’s World Cup, and a move to Craven Cottage would reunite him with compatriot Sander Berge.

Fulham have lost only one of their past seven games under Marco Silva, sitting 11th in the table and progressing into the fourth round of the FA Cup. Bobb missed almost the whole of last season after fracturing a bone in his leg during training in August 2024.
