Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer has completed a loan move to Hull City for the remainder of the season. The 22-year-old England Under-20 international joins the Tigers after previously spending time with West Bromwich Albion earlier in the campaign. According to Manutd.com.
Collyer secures second Championship loan move to play-off chasing Hull City
The move represents Collyer’s second Championship loan of the current campaign, having already gained valuable experience with West Bromwich Albion. Hull City are currently positioned in the play-off places under manager Sergej Jakirović, providing an excellent opportunity for the young midfielder’s continued development.
Collyer has made 13 senior appearances for United since breaking into the first team. His debut came in the 2024 Community Shield against Manchester City, whilst his most recent outing was in United’s 3-0 away victory at Leicester City in March of last year.
The England Under-20 international will be hoping to make an immediate impact at Hull, who face Blackburn Rovers away in their next Championship fixture on Saturday. The Tigers’ current league position suggests Collyer will be joining a side with genuine promotion ambitions for the remainder of the season.
The loan move should provide crucial first-team experience for the 22-year-old, who will be looking to establish himself as a regular starter in the competitive second tier. Hull’s play-off push offers the perfect environment for Collyer to showcase his abilities and continue his development away from Old Trafford.
