Watford’s brief statement confirmed the departure of both Still and first-team coach Karim Belhocine on Sunday morning. The Hornets finished 16th in the Championship table, managing to stay 10 points above the relegation zone despite their alarming late-season collapse under Still’s management.
Still, the older brother of former Southampton manager Will Still, had already acknowledged the scale of the rebuild required at Watford.
