Manchester United are reportedly ready to approve a loan move for Joshua Zirkzee late in the January transfer window, a change that has renewed interest from Juventus and other Serie A clubs. Italian reports say United now view a temporary exit as the best route to secure the Dutch forward regular minutes after limited league action this season.

Man United reportedly ready to sanction late January loan for Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United are willing to sanction a late January loan move for Joshua Zirkzee, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The report said United have become open to a temporary exit for the Dutch attacker as the window enters its decisive phase, a shift that has reignited interest from Juventus and other Italian sides monitoring the situation.

Zirkzee arrived at Old Trafford with promise but has found chances hard to come by amid heavy competition for attacking minutes. The report said the 25-year-old has played 482 minutes of Premier League football for United this season, with club sources viewing a loan as a sensible pathway to secure regular game time, speed up development and protect the player’s value.

Juventus are scanning the market for attacking reinforcements and have reviewed alternatives after initial exploratory contact with Tottenham over Randal Kolo Muani proved complex and costly, according to the report. Zirkzee, who is already familiar with Serie A from earlier in his career, has moved back into contention as a result.

Italian reports said Juventus like Zirkzee’s versatility, noting he can operate as a central striker, drop between the lines or link play in a front two. A loan deal also fits Juventus’ preference to manage finances carefully while meeting immediate needs, while United’s openness has also alerted other Serie A clubs looking to add a Premier League-calibre forward without committing to a permanent mid-season fee.
