Despite missing eight games due to injury, the former Empoli player has impressed De Rossi during his loan spell. Genoa are now working to meet their manager’s demands while successfully negotiating a reduced fee for Baldanzi’s permanent transfer.
Baldanzi contributed two assists across 401 minutes of action in the second half of the season for Genoa. While injuries have affected his availability, his underlying quality has convinced both De Rossi and the club hierarchy to pursue a permanent investment.
