Pisilli’s limited opportunities come despite being handed his first start by former Roma coach Daniele De Rossi in September 2024 against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. De Rossi, who specifically selected the young midfielder for that crucial fixture, now finds himself at Genoa and remains keen on working with Pisilli again after their previous collaboration in the capital.
The situation could be resolved within the next two weeks, with December 29th emerging as a significant date when Genoa visit the Olimpico to face Roma in their final match of 2025.
