The 22-year-old Portugal-born forward arrives at London Stadium after an impressive first half of the season with Gil Vicente, where he has scored 10 goals in 13 Primeira Liga appearances. Felipe becomes available for selection immediately and could make his debut in Saturday’s Premier League trip to Wolves as West Ham look to address their goalscoring struggles.

Felipe expressed his commitment to the club upon signing, stating he will give his all for West Ham. “I will give my all for this club, leaving everything on the pitch, all my effort, all my dedication,” the striker said. “The fans really like players who fight for the badge, and I can promise that I will leave every last drop of sweat on the pitch for this club.”

The Brazilian forward emphasized his determination to prove himself in English football, adding that he wants to send a strong message about his intentions. “I want to send a strong message that I have come to prove my worth,” Felipe declared during his unveiling at the London Stadium.

The signing comes at a crucial time for West Ham, who have struggled for goals in the first half of the season and currently sit 18th in the Premier League, four points from safety. Felipe’s arrival provides Nuno Espirito Santo with additional attacking options as the club battles to climb away from the relegation zone in the second half of the campaign.
