Juventus are reportedly preparing another summer pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani when his Tottenham loan expires, but the Italian club have ruled out using Khephren Thuram as part of any exchange arrangement with Paris Saint-Germain. According to Football-italia.net.
Juventus refuse Thuram swap as Kolo Muani pursuit continues into summer
The Bianconeri have maintained their interest in the 27-year-old striker despite failed attempts in recent transfer windows. Kolo Muani impressed during his initial loan spell at Juventus from January to July 2025, contributing 10 goals and three assists across 22 competitive games including the FIFA Club World Cup.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and Calciomercato.com report that Juventus are already planning their next move for the France international. The club’s previous negotiations for a fresh loan with purchase option collapsed before Kolo Muani joined Tottenham, while their January approach was rejected by Spurs who refused to terminate the loan early.
PSG’s substantial investment in Kolo Muani remains a factor, having paid €95m to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for a player whose contract runs until June 2028. However, any potential exchange involving Thuram has been dismissed by Juventus, who view the midfielder as integral to their plans.
The Italian club are reportedly satisfied with Thuram’s contributions and are instead looking to reward him with an improved contract. This stance suggests Juventus would need to structure any Kolo Muani deal through alternative means, potentially complicating their pursuit of the striker who has become a long-term target.
