AC Milan and Roma are keen to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick, according to Spanish outlet Marca. The 20-year-old has made just two La Liga appearances this season, and he could push to leave in January if his situation at Madrid does not improve. According to Footballtoday.com.
Endrick’s limited minutes at Madrid fuel January interest from Milan and Roma
Endrick’s predicament at Madrid stems from squad depth. The Brazilian has been restricted by the strength of the club’s attacking department, and although several clubs showed interest this summer, manager Jose Mourinho was firmly opposed to any departure being sanctioned. Marca reports that Milan and Roma remain keen.
The frustration is sharpened by how well he has used the minutes he has been given. Introduced from the bench in Madrid’s Champions League win over Roma last week, Endrick scored and provided an assist as his side came back to win 4-3. Roma are now among the clubs keen to sign him.
Momentum has not followed. He started the next La Liga match against Sevilla but did not score, then played only two minutes in the midweek fixture against RB Leipzig. He is expected to begin Sunday’s El Clasico on the bench, with Mourinho preferring Yan Diomande and Arda Guler on the wings.
A January exit could therefore come into play. Endrick could push to leave Madrid if his situation does not improve, and Roma and Milan are keen to secure him for the second half of this season. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, scoring eight goals in 21 appearances, according to Transfermarkt.
