Fulham have agreed a £27 million deal with Manchester City to sign winger Oscar Bobb, with sources saying City will keep a 20% sell-on clause and matching rights on future offers. The move comes after Bobb slipped down City’s pecking order following January signing Antoine Semenyo. Pep Guardiola said he believed Bobb wants to leave.

Fulham agree £27m move for Man City’s Oscar Bobb as clauses set

Fulham have struck an agreement with Manchester City to sign Oscar Bobb for £27 million, sources have confirmed. BBC Sport reported earlier in the week that the deal was close, and the attacker is now set to join the Cottagers pending the next steps of the move.

Sources say City will retain a 20% sell-on clause as part of the agreement, along with matching rights for any future bids received by Fulham. The report cited the summer example of City re-signing goalkeeper James Trafford from Burnley after the Clarets also accepted a bid from Newcastle.

Bobb has dropped down the pecking order at City following the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. After City’s win over Wolves on Saturday, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the situation. “I know there are rumours, I know there are talks,” Guardiola said, and when asked if Bobb wants to leave, he added: “I think so.”

The 21-year-old has featured 15 times for City this season without scoring. He last played on 17 December against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, when he hobbled off injured inside the opening 20 minutes. Bobb missed almost the whole of last season after fracturing a bone in his leg during training in August 2024, and he has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.

Fulham sit seventh in the Premier League table following Saturday’s 2-1 win over Brighton and have lost only one of their last seven league games under Marco Silva. Bobb has featured six times for Norway this year, helping them qualify for this summer’s World Cup, and would link up with compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. Fulham have also made a £28 million bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi.
