Inter are reportedly open to letting Luis Henrique leave for Besiktas, but only if the move meets strict terms and a replacement is secured first. Italian media say talks that had cooled are active again, with Inter insisting on a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy. Ivan Perisic has been identified as the leading alternative option.

Inter demand permanent deal for Luis Henrique amid renewed Besiktas talks

Inter are prepared to consider offers for Luis Henrique from Besiktas, with Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset among outlets reporting negotiations that were described as abandoned have now resumed. The Brazilian only arrived at San Siro in the summer from Olympique Marseille, in a deal worth €22.8 million plus €2 million in add-ons, but has struggled to make the desired impact.

Luis Henrique has managed one assist in 23 competitive appearances this season. He has also been pushed into the starting XI because of a long-term injury to Denzel Dumfries, who is out following surgery. With Dumfries unavailable, Inter are warning they must have cover in place before allowing a move to go through.

Inter’s conditions for a deal are specific. The club will accept either a permanent transfer or a loan that includes an obligation to buy at the end of the season, according to the reports. Besiktas are described as determined to secure the player, but Inter’s stance is tied to both the structure of the transfer and the need to arrange a replacement first.

Perisic is considered the most likely alternative if Inter proceed with a sale. The Croatia international could return to San Siro after his first spell at the club from 2015 to 2022, and he is currently with PSV Eindhoven after also playing for Tottenham Hotspur and Hajduk Split. Perisic is days away from his 37th birthday and has been described as impressive this season with five goals and 10 assists in 26 games.
